 1.     I have settled at Udaipur , Raj. after retirement. My last duty station was HQs WC . We are in the process of organising our self into a Mewar-Wagar ESM Association comprising of esm of Udaipur Division. The belt comprises of 6 Dist of Udaipur i.e. Dungerpur, Banswara, Udaipur. Rajsamand , ChittaurGarh and Pratapgarh. The ESM community largely belongs to Grenadiers , Raj Rif, Rajputs, in addn to other arms and services of Army and All branches of Navy and AF

 2.    As per my estimate there are appx 30. 000 pensioners( Living soldiers + Surviving widows in receipt of fam pen.) in this belt. The ZSB, Udaipur shows only 9500 or so on  their record and the Gp D ECHS shows only 400 or so pensioners registered with them. No civil Hosp has been empanneled and there is no worthwhile Med facility available .

  3.     I was also surprised to note that the local fmn was lukeworm to the ESM and there was no worthwhile interaction between the local mil stn and ESM community.
  4.   I have brought this to the notice of * , **, and *** commanders in whose AOR this belt lies. I have been able to get a DSOI  membership for myself ( Member No 1 ) and promise that more interaction with the ESM community will be planned in future. The result is awaited  
  5. I have also been told in writing that the Fmns have no control over Sainik Boards( Rajya Sainik Board/ Zila Sainik Board ) I have a contrary openion to it and have got the doc proof under which the Active Fmn Cdrs are on the pannel of the Boards and the boards have Legal and constitutional duties to perform which also includes monitoring and controling actions. I am preparing the ground for taking action so that the Civil and Mil auth can be directed to perform the duties assingned to them as per charter/ held responsible for non performance of duty if required. The RTI and Govt official sites on web are the tools.
  6.   My point of views on making KSBs/ RSBs and ZSBs our tools to fight our battle are available on net and I would request the community to let me know there response.
